Rewards card rebate... scam?

We were promised hundreds of dollars in credits in rebates for trading in our old phones and signing up for a wireless and DirecTV bundle.

Months later less than half of what was promised has come and the customer service reps know nothing about these deals. We've ha be spent several hours on the phone and nothing, they just tell us to wait but that we need to pay our bill despite not getting what we were promised.

What's going on? Can you just cancel our services take your phones back and let's call it even. We're so done with the false promises, stall tactics and run around.

I am a victim of this scam.  I traded in an IPhone 7 256 GB which I was suppose to receive a $350 trade in allowance over 30 months when I purchased the new iPhone 12 5G.  What a scam.  Have spent hours on the phone with customer service, spent 2.5 hours holding for a supervisor who said they would escalate and I would receive a call back in 5 business days.  No response.  Sent a letter in writing to their dispute department in Carol Stream IL over 2 months ago. No response.  This is stealing by one of the largest cellular providers.    Now they are trying to tell me I traded a 64 GB phone and I have the original packaging of my iPhone 7 with IMEI number on it.  Their representative sold me the plan, misrepresented the offer and now I am being cheated out of my phone and signed up for a plan I don't need.  Worst experience ever!!!!!  I am a new customer to AT&T and warn against these trade in scams.  There is no recourse to get your money back and they end up with a phone you paid over $1000.

I was also scammed by ATT, similar to above.I was promised 350$ trade in rebate for my iPhone 6s, when I bought a new 1200$ IPhone 12 Pro Max. I send in my iPhone six just as instructed, it was in perfect condition, no chips or cracks etc. I received a text from ATT today saying the received my phone but somehow I didn’t my the eligibility requirements, so I would only receive current trade in value. I call the customer service number they provide, and after waiting a looong time. I finally find out the credit was 15$!....not the 350$ they promised.....what a rip off!! I wonder how many other thousands of people out there they are scamming. I think a (Edited per community guidelines) (Edited per community guidelines) is in order. Anybody with me?

Att has cheated me out of a $250 gift card. All they do keep promising to send it or give a call back to resolve the issue. Guess what? No call backs and no card. It seems they are deliberately trying to make the accountants incentive breakage numbers. In my opinion this is a deliberate action.
