PUK CODES

Does anyone know about PUK codes for an iPhone 6-plus and why is there 4 digits required for the original code and according to the Customer service rep "every PUK code is 8 digits"?  Any help so I dont have to drivew to a store would be awesome! Thanks.

PUK codes are available on the online account manager.

The "PUK" code is the ordinal ESN or the devices serial #. Grandfathered means your carrying, still operating a plan that is no longer offered to customers who wish to change their rate plans. It's like I still have as part of my plan, is I have un-limited data plan, PERIOD! No roll-over etc..
