Port a number

How long does it usually take to port a number to AT&T? I put in my order on 03/06 and its been stuck on "pending port approval" ever since.

Hello @Nina7536!

It would be our pleasure to help!

If a wireless transfer was made at a local AT&T store, it would take up to 1 to 3 business hours to complete the transfer. When transferring a phone number, it takes a minimum of 5 business days.

If there is an issue with the port number process, you would receive a phone call from our AT&T Port Activation Team that will request additional information, or a message that needs to be responded as quickly as possible. Otherwise the processing will not be completed.

You an visit our AT&T Check Eligibility Portal to make sure that the phone number is good-to-go.

We hope this information helps, and have a good evening
