Poor customer service

Hello,
I would like to have my phone order moved to the November 3 ship date. I had previously ordered an iPhone 8 and returned it unopened to wait for the x. In the interim before it was refunded my plan was charged the first installment agreement amount. So, I called and was assured it would be refunded on the next billing cycle, but I had already received the tax credit. I also wanted to confirm my upgrade eligibility would be restored so I could order the x. I was told t was - Well, it was not. So, I chatted with a representative "fritzie" last night 10-26 who assured me he/she would straighten the issue out. INSTEAD they turned off my phone. Cancelled my phone number, I couldn't make calls, no one could call me. I called from my husbands phone and NO ONE could get it turned back on, the team that does it was gone. No one understood what I was saying, they seemed to think the 8 had been disconnected - I NEVER ACTIVATED IT. So, instead - I had an 8 hour old baby in the hospital with no phone if my husband had to leave (and can provide any documents needed from the MD). I called this morning at 9 am as instructed and was hung up on by a rude representative and called back, finally talked to someone that understood me and restored my service. However, due to the inconvenience I was unable to preorder the iPhone x at 3 am and get in the first shipment back. Now, since this was NOT my fault and I spent over 4 hours between last night and this morning trying to get this resolved - I think it's only fair I get sent the phone sooner. Until the last representative this has been the worst customer service I've ever encountered.
Thank you,
Erin

This is a customer to customer forum. You won't get your shipping date changed by posting here. You need to contact customer support directly. If you don't wish to call or chat, you can send a private message to @ATTMobilityCare.

Don't like it don't read it. Easy as that. It's not my fault they have incompetent people that disconnect phones for no reason. Move along.

I know that's what I'd be doing if I had a newborn!
