Recently my AT&T account was hacked and was used to purchase 2 new iphones, assign my number to one of those phones, and add 2 new unauthorized users and an additional unauthorized phone number to the account. I believe I have resolved all of this with AT&T, but am interested in the mechanics of how this happened. How exactly are people able to do this? Can anyone help explain?
