Having working wireless service is important, Jatsol. Let's look into why your phone is displaying not registered on the network.

The error message 'not connected to a network' means your SIM card can't connect to our network.

  • What is the make and model of your phone? We phased out our 3G network. In order for your phone to work you will need to have an HD Voice capable phone and SIM card.
    • If you brought your phone over to the AT&T network you will want to make sure that it's found on our list of supported unlocked phones.
    • Need a supported phone? Depending on your kind of service with AT&T (Wireless or PREPAID) follow the steps under We can help upgrade your AT&T Wireless device or Get help upgrading your AT&T PREPAID device when you visit Get details on the 3G network shut down.

Reach back out to us and let us know what you find. We want to make sure you're able to use your cellular service as you once did.

Always check to see if your phone is compatible with AT&t's service. Using an incompatible phone can Cross your SIM card to be suspended. You would have to contact AT&T and correct the IMEI associated in order to resume service.
