pay wireless bill with att prepaid card

i purchased an at&t prepaid card to make my cell phone payment.. i couldn't figure out how to add the money to my payment so i sent a txt to an att tech.. he said that i could not do it through the internet and to bring the card to a store location and they would add the payment for me..i go to store and the only employee on duty could not help me.. she suggested i go to another location..i called support and the lady there told me that i could not use a prepaid card to pay my wireless bill..

is it possible to pay my wireless contract phone bill with an att prepaid card? i have 200$ on these cards that are nonrefundable..

Hi there @iR0byN,

Welcome to the Community Forums! Thank you for reaching out to us about your payment concerns. I definitely understand how important it is to make sure this is addressed. I am happy to assist!

With the Prepaid cards you purchased, you will be unable to use them to make a payment on a Postpaid account. We offer a number of different payment methods for Postpaid accounts, you can find more information about these methods here.

I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you, I hope you enjoy the rest of your week.

I used the  payment directions on the back of the prepaid card so does that mean my payment is on my account ?
