Order stuck in “in progress”

I placed an online order for local pick-up 7 hours ago and it has been saying in progress the entire time. I talked to my local store who said it takes approximately 2-4 hours for the order to be processed and sent to my local store. I called AT&T and they said that it was a problem with my number port and it was hung up in the system. They told me they fixed the problem and the order would be sent to my local store. My local store said they can not even see the order and have no idea what the problem is. The specialist I called says he can’t see order details or what the problem is either but to call the online order specialists who’s department is closed until Monday;this is Saturday. My problem is I have to go out of town for work for the next week, hence my placing the order early in the day so I can have my phone before I leave. My local store is open Sunday 12-6pm but who knows if anyone will be able to see the order so I can pick it up. I was originally told 2-4 hours and now am being told it is at least 24 hours before my order will be processed. I just want to know what the time frame is and if I’m going to be able to pick up a $1,000 phone tomorrow or what I need to do. Is it normally 24 hours?

We'd be more than happy to take a closer look into why your online order was not processed and sent to your local store within two hours. Orders are typically ready for free in-store pickup within 2 hours; your order is not ready until you receive your Ready for Pickup notification email. If your store location is experiencing heavy traffic, please allow for more time. To be eligible for 2-hour pickup, orders must be placed between the beginning of the business day and 2 hours before store closing. During U.S. holidays, stores may be closed or have different hours. Let us know if your order is still in progress.

I'm experiencing the same issue please placed order yesterday at 11:40 and still being processed for In store pickup???

This is a lie. The reason why your order is stuck is because your bank hasn't cleared your payment and AT&T thinks you are a high risk. My order has been stuck for 24 hours. If it doesn't clear they will eventually cancel the order.

My order is also stuck after being placed earlier today. I called AT&T, and they had no idea what was wrong. They kept saying I had just placed my order a few minutes ago, even though it had been almost five hours. They had no solution and said wait until the morning, so it is “hopefully” ready then. Very frustrating since we just made the move to at&t after being with sprint for 16 years.
