On hold for 2 hours and counting

Excuse my language but is their a (Edited per community guidelines)ING reason why I’ve been on hold for 2 hours and 11 minutes and counting this is (Edited per community guidelines)ing ridiculous and I’m livid. Because I should even have to call this number because my order was cancelled for no reason because you couldn’t verify it was me yet the card I paid with is linked to my address where I get my bill. Since leaving Verizon and going to at&t it’s been nothing but a headache and frankly I’m over it. I’m tired of waiting on hold and constantly being (Edited as per community guidelines) around and having my time wasted for no reason. Unlock my iPhone so I can use it another service. This is (Edited per community guidelines)

1. There clearly is a reason your order was canceled---your identity can't be verified.

2. Did the email tell you to call?  Generally, when your identity can't be verified, the email instruct the customer to go to an AT&T (corporate) store and place a new order so the employee can verify identity via photo ID.

3. If your iPhone is eligible to be unlocked, you submit the request online.

Hello, @Robrush15,

Thank you for reaching out. After making the order, you should have received an email if we needed to verify that, yes, you did make the order. In most cases, you would need to go into an AT&T Store. This is usually only asked for if the account is new.

Here are things to know to unlock your device through AT&T. The preceding link includes the steps to unlock it and the requirements to be able to do so.

Have a great week.
