Number not elible to transfer
Good evening, I am trying to transfer my phone number to Google Fi. I have called AT&T and Google Fi. I paid off my line in full and I do not owe anything on the line, but when I try to transfer it says that my number is not eligible to transfer. What should I do?

Do you have your account number and security code for your AT&T account? You must have these two things in order to port your number to another carrier

I do have both and have verified with AT&T support.

Why is Fi saying they can’t port? Your number must be active. If you let your plan expire, you can’t port.

I really want to know what providers cannot be ported to AT&T. Is there an official list we can follow. I have gone to 2 stores and they told me that we can port all my numbers and my family has different providers all over the U.S. and I was unable to port all the numbers when your salespeople said it was portable. I had to cancel the entire account for 10 lines

Why did they tell you the port didn’t go through? What carriers were to number in question in service with?
