No support
I’m pretty frustrated because I received an email that someone ordered a phone from my account which was unauthorized and clearly fraud. I was able to manually cancel the order myself and changed all passwords and security questions unfortunately whenever I was attempting to find out how to report this to att there is zero support for this type of situation and no resources or departments I can contact to work to ensure this doesn’t occur again. They want everything to be self help and offer no real reassurance this won’t happen again.

I was in the hospital last month having heart surgery ,and someone broke into
my car and stole my drivers license and social security card, then went and
bought four i phones. i called the other three companies, but i can't get thru
to AT&T. I talked to a lady at global fraud management. She said go to their
online site but it does not exist, and fill a form out. what to do ????????

AT&T recommends that you call
I don't know what web site the lady at global fraud management is talking about.

Does it concern you at all that the URL you posted contains "directv.com"?

It was originally just for Directv but ATT Global Fraud has been using that form and link for a long time. They even updated the form but why they never updated the URL, I don’t know. I would imagine there is an “att.com” url that takes you to the same form, I just don’t know it.

@sandblaster , As DIRECTV is a separate company from AT&T at this point, I would be concerned that filling out a form on the DIRECTV.COM site would not result in the information being properly handed off to AT&T. Just replacing "DIRECTV.COM" with "ATT.COM" does not yield a working page, but AT&T doesn't publish a link to this form.
@benzne , perhaps you could try calling the number again and try out the URL they give you while they are still on the phone?

Hi benzne! We are here to point you in the right direction for the unauthorized iPhone purchases!
We do empathize with the ordeal that transpired; having your important documents stolen and someone buying four iPhones in your name. We also want to wish you a quick recovery from your heart surgery. What sandblaster stated is true, we recommend reaching out to our Fraud Department at 877.844.5584 as they are better equipped to address your fraud inquiry of unauthorized iPhone purchases.
Also, fill out the Fraud Referral Form that the fraud department requested. Here is also more information regarding identity theft which highlights ways to guard yourself against identity theft and how you can report identity theft.
Reach back out to us if you have additional questions! Thank you for reaching out to the AT&T Community Forums!

Rhoda, the link you gave for a form (https://att.sharepoint.com/sites/GFMO1/default.aspx) takes one to an authenticated AT&T Sharepoint site. To use that form, one would have to be an AT&T employee talking with a customer to get the answers.
