Newgistics "Lost" my return!!!
AT&T Premier Customer / RMA # ************
I dropped the phone off at my local USPS Post Office with the Parcel Select Return Service label provided to me by AT&T on 9/25. Today is 10/1 and Newgistics has no additional tracking information regarding this return.
I live in Austin and the phone turns out is going to Ft Worth-- not sure why it's been nearly a week and I've not received any type of update or confirmation. I contacted the Post Office per AT&T and they tell me that these Smartlabel Returns go through another carrier (Newgistics) and we'd need to contact them.
This is worrying because of the "horror" stories I've been reading about other customer's similar return issues with Newgistics. I'm shocked that AT&T continues to partner with them given the number of customer complaints out there.
I need to get more information from AT&T on the status of this return.
Have others here dealt with this?

I never heard of "The Switcher" program until this week when I learned my Sprint plan wasn't payed off. I received a flyer in the mail fot a package deal as I stated in my first post. Oh yes, my USPS receipt dated June 2 has a destination the SPRINT phone went to. I have nothing to do with "The Swicther Program" mine was a "Rewards" program and was told by an AT&T agent AT&T would buy out my SPRINT contract otherwise, why would i send them property of SPRINT? Thanks for your reply but it sounds like you know too much not to be an AT&T employee and this situation seems like unfair business practice [Edited to comply with Guidelines]

The Switcher program was the promotion that paid off installment plans or ETFs (through reimbursement) when customers switched.
Like i said, that promotion ended March 31.
I don't know why you sent them your phone, or where you sent it, or how you knew where to send it since haven't given that information.
Have you looked at the tracking number to see where the phone is now?

You can’t sue a wireless carrier, Supreme Court won’t allow it.
employees are clearly identified.
It’s obvious I don’t work for ATT. ATT employees never want to give bad news.
Ends 3/31/2018 except in select ZIP codes in Greater LA, New York City and Chicago. Each line req’s elig. port-in, trade-in, purch., & svc. $650= min. $5 trade-in credit/promo card (for AT&T products/svc only) + prepaid card (w/in 90 days) for device balance/early term. fee amount less trade-in. Fees, charges & restr’s apply.

And just to let you know, again, AT&T sent me a “retun kit” so once they
received the phone they’d buy out the lease. Why do you want to know so
many details if you’re not an Att employee. Please leave me alone - I’m
over discussing g this with ppl who are in favor of Att’s practices. Upon
further research, I’m not alone in this problem so at this point I’m
satisfied. I don’t need to hear from you further.

Reading the offer isn't that complicated and doesn't require you to be an employee.
I'd be very interested in seeing what those documents say about this offer.
If you have information other than what is mentioned here, please share it so that we have that information to share with other customers.

You posted on a public forum so I assumed you wanted help. The only reason I want details is so I can help you. As @lizdance40 pointed out, there are certain zip codes where the switcher promo is ongoing, so I might have been mistaken. Do you live in NYC, LA, or Chicago?
You keep saying "it was sent to..." or "shipped to..." That doesn't matter. Have you looked at the tracking information to figure out where it is?

That’s amazing. You have read other posts about how ATT lied about the promotion, but are dead set on believing your weren’t lied to.
No one asked you for personal information.
If you don’t want to get the truth from customers, don’t post on a community forum.
Call 611 and ATT will lie to you some more. Case numbers and investigations. Enjoy.

EXACTLY what I’m saying. A bait and switch. So yes just to be
perfectly clear, ATT lied to me and is still lying, even the countless
times I’ve called 611.
ENJOY!
