Lost / Misplaced iPhone - iCloud & Authentication, Etc.
Hello AT&T,
My phone is under a company account. I understand I can go to AT&T store and get my misplaced phone (authentication, etc.). Since my number is under a company account, what other proof of identification other than my driver license?
Do I need the account owner give me authorization before I head to the store?
Thank you,
Terri Boyce

If your phone is under a business account, that phone and phone line belongs to the business. I suspect that you would need to be authorized by the business, as a minimum.
Also, what do you mean “misplaced phone”? What are you looking for from the AT&T store?

@dwill05 Thank you so much. I have one last place to check tonight if my phone is there. As of this date, when I call my work cell# it goes directly to voicemail. Also, I was trying to access important information via iCloud, however, it asked for authentication verification.
I believe I misplaced it (I was in 7 different places around the date when it was missing -a family wedding), but will apparently need to get a replacement sooner than later at the store.
My only concern is - Will I be able to retrieve any saved information on that phone after I report it as lost or stolen?

iCloud is Apple. AT&T can’t help you with iCloud login or authentication. If you lost your phone, you should be able to use Find My IPhone, which again is Apple, and is something AT&T can’t help you with. As far as information stored on the phone, that would be in a backup of the phone, which (I’m repeating myself here) is likely in your iCloud account, if you had backups selected to be performed.
Hopefully your phone is in the store, but if it isn’t, AT&T can’t help you find it, or help you with anything on the Apple side of things, like iCloud.
