Is there actually someone at ATT that can help?

I need to have the phone number on my profile changed as it is not mine, it is my spouses.  The same number shows up on both mine and my spouses profile and I need to change it so I can use the SyncMyNumber function.  I have talked to literally 8 people and not one of them can actually help me.  I keep getting "let's to the troubleshooting" speech that they have to go through.  I just need someone to unlink the phone number from my account so that I can actually set it up correctly.

We're here to help get the number to your Access ID changed, @doyenblair.

You can manage the wireless number for your user ID online through your myAT&T.

Assign, change, or remove the wireless number for your ID

  1. Go to your myAT&T Profile and then Contact info.

  2. Select the Phone tab.

  3. In the My AT&T wireless number section, select Add, Edit, or Remove

  4. Save your changes.

  5. If assigning or changing a wireless number, enter the verification code sent to the wireless number.

We hope this helps!

You mean numbersync.

To resolve this, set up or change your user ID and password for your number.

In order for numbersync to work, each phone must have its own access ID.

Yes I have already have a separate ID for her, but it has my number on it instead of hers.  My ID has my number on it too.

Oh my gosh!  You are the FIRST person that has said that and it worked.  Why can't the ATT help desk people know this!

Thank you!
