What is saying your account is not active? You need to provide more information than that for anyone to help.

Are you a prepaid user? Or did you suspend your US service? Or have you stopped paying and have been suspended involuntarily? You're going to have to provide more information

Hello Axelortega1, we're here to help you with your International Day Pass inquiry.

As the ACE's @sandblaster and @formerlyknownas mentioned, we do need more information to further assist.

What service type do you have postpaid or prepaid? Prepaid is not eligible for the International Day Pass and would first need a payment to become active.

Has your service been suspended here in the US. Also, are your currently in Paris?

Let us know the following.

Yes, unfortunately as i was helped through the phone they attempted to give me access to the day pass, but something went wrong on my end. Says my eSIM is no longer downloaded after restarting like the agent advised me. Really lost with the situation in paris been living out of free wifi coffee shops. Unfortunately no at&t in france to assist me.

Yes my service is postpaid and unfortunately whatever happened after the phone restart wiped my current SIM. Says it was transferred to my phone but no eSIM is downloaded to my device leaving it with no service at all.

Huh?

Unless you deleted your e-Sim, factory reset the phone, or never had your ESIM active, this is not normal or possible.

International day pass doesn't do anything to your phone. All it does is limit how much you pay when you're roaming outside the United States

Says it was transferred to my phone but no eSIM is downloaded to my device leaving it with no service at all.

Huh?

What was transferred to your phone? What ESIM are you talking about?

I can't tell if you have no idea what you're doing or if someone who has no idea what they are doing gave you completely incorrect information.

But safe to say none of what you're saying makes any sense whatsoever. Nothing should have been done to your physical sim or E-Sim in order to add international day pass to your phone line

If you have ESIM that means you have two SIM device. Please check in connection settings to see if you have an active ESIM on your other line.

Buddy, I wish it made sense to me as well. At&t agent was also struggling. Stop trying to make it seem like I know everything about the cellular connection. I literally am just stating a situation that occurred. Yes it literally says my SIM card is no longer needed and that eSIM was downloaded to my device but its just not there. If it doesn’t make sense there is a reason I am lost as well.

Okay so you're dribbling out a little more information, that information may be helpful. If you had a physical sim and switched over to the esim, you now have to tell your phone to access the esim instead of the physical slot.

Check in your connection settings to see if it indicates an active SIM card in either Sim slot?

It is possible to convert a physical Sim to an esim on the same phone outside of the United States. It is not possible to download a new SIM card for at&t outside of the United States.  If AT&t attempted to download a new SIM card for you instead of having you convert your sim or if the conversion somehow failed and you deactivated your physical Sim, you may be stuck.

I'm still not sure what that has to do with adding international day pass to your phone line. Or if your intention was to convert to esim so that you could also use a physical Sim while outside of the USA.  Since you didn't provide that information all I can do is guess.  In fact, For lack of a complete timeline of what was done, where and when, and by who, all we can do is guess based on what little information you provide.
