I need to get copies of my old voice and message logs for 7 years back.

Is it possible to get copies of my old cell phone records (voice calls & messages) from as far back as 2013? I did call ATT customer service and after a long hold overseas was told I only have access to my current reports (last 12 months). Does anyone know if it is possible to have ATT retrieve/reprint my old bills???

ATT keeps 7 years of billing records. At best you can get back to 2016. You must call and request bill reprints and you need to specify you want the detailed bill that includes call and text logs. Unfortunately, there are many agents, especially the overseas ones that are clueless. Keep calling until you get an agent who knows what that is or escalate to corporate by filing an FCC or BBB complaint. ATT charges $5 per bill reprint.

Thank you! I just called again and received the same response. This agent referred me to call a local ATT store (?). I am calling 611 from my cell phone. Is there a better number to call?

No. Don’t bother calling a store either. Perhaps try saying “cancel service” at the voice prompt. That should route your call to retention, there is a better chance they will know how to do bill reprints. Otherwise, it may be time for a BBB complaint. That should get you a response from someone that can fulfill your request.

Sandblaster, I used the prompt “cancel service” which definitely helped. The agent was not able to handle my request directly however, she directed me to call/email the Global Legal Demand Center (GLCC@ATT.COM/800.635.6840). I called and received an agent immediately. Their office sent me a Customer Authorization For Release Of Records form via my email account. I do not need legal counsel. There is a $70 fee processed upfront. I completed the form and returned to the email noted above and received an automated receipt. And that’s where I am at present. My detailed voice and text files will be sent to me via email. So, thank you Sandblaster for the advice and I hope my information may help others! Ps. The forms must be notarized.

Thanks for the feedback. Hope you get what you need but unless you are no longer an ATT customer, having to go through the Global Legal Demand Center still doesn’t sound right. I know other customers have gotten bill reprints without going through that office, I got several bill reprints myself without going through that office. Perhaps it’s because of the number of past records you are requesting.

No, just the call and text detail logs.
