I am having trouble activating and keeping my old number

I got an email from at&t stating that they have ran into a issue when switching my number from my old service. I have contacted the number that they gave me a couple of times and can't get any help with this issue. I got different notifications about this and different numbers to call. What should i do? And is it possible to resolve this issue in the store? Thanks

Make sure the information from your previous carrier was correct. If you were transferring from Verizon you have a security pin and a port out pin what you need in order to transfer your service.
