how to switch sim car to esim card on prepaid service

We can definitely assist you with switching your PREPAID service over from your current SIM card, to an eSIM card, as long as you're using a compatible device such as an iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, and an iPhone XR. If you need to Replace a SIM or eSIM card, simply visit an AT&T store near you. Please be sure to call ahead first to make sure they have what you need in stock. Have you acquired an eSIM yet for your iPhone? If not, you'll need to go into your nearest AT&T Store to acquire one. If you have one, we have the steps for you to install the eSIM. Try this:

1. Go to Settings, then Cellular.
2. Select Add cellular plan.
3. Open and point the iPhone's camera to the QR code on your eSIM activation card until you see a message that says Installing cellular plan.
4. You're set! the eSIM is now downloaded and installed.
