How to get to speak with an actual Manager
How does one go about getting contacted by a manager?
I have used every single vehicle at my disposal to speak with a manager in regards to my issue. An att care rep contacted me on this forum and when I asked to speak with an actual manager she never responded back.
I would like to also also add that the reps continually transfer you to other reps when you ask for a manger. Not one rep has owned any of the numerous phone calls I have made.
Such a demeaning experience I have endured at the hands of att reps that have not been helpful and actually rather insulting to say the least.
I will begin the process of canceling my service and joining another service provider.
Why would I as a customer choose to continue pay a company for a service that I am not happy with.

@Ipayforthis86 If you were contacted by a member of advanced support through the forum, you are at the highest level of support. If you’re having no success, it may be the problem has no solution that will mollify you.
I’m guessing it has to do with the watch. https://forums.att.com/t5/Apple/How-many-reps-does-it-take-to-activate-cellular-on-an-Apple/m-p/5525701#M296494
It shouldn’t have been so difficult to activate with the imbedded e-sim. (They are in smart watches and new iPads). While e-sim is new, it’s also the expected future for all phones. AT&T company stores should know how to activate.
Is there a new problem or are you seeking a pound of flesh for the former incompetence?

It started with the Apple Watch activation and continued with lack of product knowledge by the att representatives. My issues was exasperated by the reps instructing me to continue trying the app to activate the watch which flagged it as fraudulent. I have been given false information from reps and only one has owned my issue.
I have continually been offered $25 by reps which I find insufficient and rather insulting. When you take into consideration the personal time I spent speaking the reps and the frustration it has caused me. I have been so upset about this situation I have paid off my iPhone 7 that I currently have to prepare to either be taken care of like a loyal customer(I have been with AT&T since Cingular +10 years) or part ways.

Att isn’t going to pay for your time. I understand being angry, you have every right. If that’s your line in the sand, it’s time to go. Lack of response from advanced support means they’re done.

Don't waste your time. Every time you call or chat with AT&T you are contacting an outsourced party outside the US, mainly India. This has been going on for years. Those agents have a script that you catch on to after several contacts. Find an alternative, but don't get your hopes up. All these large companies are outsourcing and there seems to be no supervision to the agents ineptitude. Who are we, anyway? Just another customer.

it's absolutely not true that you can only contact people outside the US if you call AT&T. AT&T just opened a call center in Houston with 500 customer service reps so that's a huge waste of money if no one is talking to them. Even if you did talk to someone outside the U.S., the reason you keep hearing the same thing over and over might be because that's the only answer to give. Maybe if you were specific about what your problem is here you can get a better answer.
