How long does it take to return a phone to AT&T Wireless?

I returned a smartphone on 2/22/22 via USPS. USPS confirmed the package was picked up by Newgistics (the shipping agent) on 2/23/22. As of 3/15/22, the phone's status is "In Transit," and I am stuck paying for it, and unable to upgrade to a different device.

I called customer service and was informed that it could take more than 2 business cycles for a phone to be returned to the warehouse. Is this information correct? Why does it take so long?

Have you used the smart label tracking on newgistics website?   Still in transit?

A couple of weeks is not unheard of, and the next check-in would be at whichever Warehouse the phone is going to.  But it is at the outside of normal.

Two weeks is typical. 3 weeks not so much.

I may have been my phone to get the screen repaired on January 24th and still haven't gotten it back. It was verified delivered to flower mound Texas return center but my phone is nowhere to be found AT&t keeps telling me they're going to contact me they open the case on it but I keep getting the running around I hope you have better luck than me with this I'm still fighting for it but don't look like I'll win
