I have a new S8+ and I have incessant ads.

I have shut off and disabled everything I can think of.

I don't need any apps except the telephone.

Obviously, I hate anything to do with Google.

There must be a switch somewhere that says NO ADS, but I cannot find it.

@Bekahbrat10 if you are getting pop up ads on your phone its because you have installed an app with ads. Check the views on them and see which one has people complaining about ads.

Hi @jptangen,

Thank you for posting about this on the Community Forums. I am pleased to offer assistance.

I am sorry you are having issues with pop up adds on your phone. I apologize for any inconvenience with this. Since it can be difficult to pinpoint the software that is causing the pop up adds, I am going to suggest wiping the cache partition to resolve this issue.  Please perform the following steps to wipe the cache partition.

Turn off the device.

Press and hold the Volume Up key and the Bixby key, then press and hold the Power key.

When the Android logo displays, release all keys ('Installing system update' will show for about 30 - 60 seconds before showing the Android system recovery menu options).

Press the Volume down key several times to highlight “wipe cache partition.”
Press the Power key to select.

Press the Volume down key to highlight “yes” and press the Power key to select.

When the wipe cache partition is complete, “Reboot system now” is highlighted.

Press the Power key to restart the device.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Have a great rest of your day!
