How can I check my installment balance?

I want to unlock my iPhone. But you told me that I haven't paid off your device yet. And I have forgotten my account and AT&T Phone number. Please tell me, how can I check my installment balance and how can I pay off my device.

OP is not a U.S. Resident so I'm guessing the phone was purchased and OP left the country after letting AT&T service lapse. That's why the phone number is unknown. I'd recommend calling International Customer Service at +1.314.925.6925 or go to https://www.att.com/contactus/ to chat with a representative.

How do you forget your ATT phone number? Look on your phone. Is your ATT account still open or did you cancel?

And I have forgotten my account and AT&T Phone number.  How?  Account number, okay.  But you don’t know your phone number?

Please tell me, how can I check my installment balance and how can I pay off my device.   Haven’t you read your bill? Your installments are on the bill.  Login and manage your installments to pay them off.

If you have never logged in - well first - shame!  How do you know your bill is right?  Call At&t for help logging in.

Thanks for your answer. This device which I want to unlock is I bought as a second-hand iPhone months ago, and I don’t it has a installment plan. Now I want to use some other Carrier ‘s SIM card. Unfortunately, I find out it’s a locked iPhone. so,this is why I start this topic.

@lizdance40  So it seems he bought a used phone and was going to try to get the original owners account information hence the fib about forgetting his account number and phone number and thinking this was AT&T.

@LeoHuang  That’s not how it works. You cannot pay off someone else’s balance. So I’m afraid that phone will never be unlocked unless the original owner pays it off. There are security measures in place that will forbid you to get that information.

So you lied when you said "I have forgotten my account and AT&T Phone number?" That doesn't help with finding a solution. If you'd said this earlier, you would have been told a very different answer which is that you will never be able to use this phone on a different carrier until the owner pays it off. The original owner should have paid it off before selling it or disclosed it wasn't paid off. AT&T will not give you the account information so you can't pay it off yourself. I'd say you should get a refund, but you said it's been months, so I don't know if that's an option.

This is important and you should have started with this information.    Our answers are based on your information.  We only know what you tell us. Unfortunately it is not possible for any information from a previous owner to be provided to you. AT&T will not do so. If you cannot get the phone unlocked through the portal AT&T will not unlock it.  Sorry, no solution.

Sorry. It's my fault. I simply think it's not necessary to tell u I bought a used iPhone (awkward). For the moment, I am totally wrong.  And I can not pay off this installment plan, so this used iPhone can not be unlocked either, unless....

Anyway, thanks for your kindly answers. Have a nice day!!!!!
