Help to escalate: How to portin a number from different state
Recently, purchased an ATT prepaid plan and activated an account by paying $300. By doing this, I got a new mobile number with ATT and new account was created. I've an existing mobile number with T-mobile prepaid MVNO (ultra mobile) which I wanted to port into ATT. For some reason (which is not mentioned anywhere in the ATT website) ATT doesn't allow porting in a number from states other than where the number is activated.
They are asking me to forfeit my account and forget about my $300 and, create another account in Florida to correctly port in number.
When, I placed this new service on ATT website this was never shown on the page or warned to me. If this was done, I would not have placed the order with ATT. By not doing this, ATT is doing fraudulent activities.I've already spend around 3 hours talking to ATT agents and they didn't help me to resolved this issue and didn't file a ticket to resolve this issue.
Is there any way to escalate this issue to get resolved.
