I retired from AT&T 1/1/23 and had HBO Max included with my Unlimited Plus until a couple weeks ago. My wireless plan remains Unlimited Plus. I contacted support but they can't seem to get it added back to my wireless account. So very frustrating!!!
This happened to us. We had Unlimited Premium (which is no longer available) - hubby went to buy a new phone and the store changed the plan to Unlimited Plus. No longer get HBO Max and lost some discounts that we had. Spend 1 1/2 hours on the phone getting the discounts back. They said they could change us back to Unlimited Premium but that I could not get the HBO Max restored. Totally frustrated. If I would have been with, I knew better than to let them change the plan.
@cweber584 You have your plan names reversed. Unlimited Premium is the current plan that does not include HBOMax. Unlimited Plus is the grandfathered plan that does include HBOMax.
AT&T left me a voicemail message stating HBOMax is not available to AT&T retirees so they won't add it back to my Unlimited Plus plan. Well what a surprise. "That" worked out well.

If you didn’t change your plan and still have Unlimited Plus, then you were told wrong. HBOMax should still be available to you.

Did you change your plan? If you change to a newer plan it's no longer available.

Not for me. It's been more than six weeks since HBOMax was removed from my Unlimited Plus plan.
I never changed my plan, just my status changed to retiree.
