Has anyone's Hotspot been taken over by another phone?

I have a Samsung Galaxy A11 and a Hotspot plan. A couple of weeks ago I could not access my Hotspot. The access button was grayed out. When I looked at the network, it showed a different phone and a different password. My phone had to be factory reset. How can I prevent this from happening again?

Hey there @Chillery. We are here to help you with your mobile hotspot.

We understand how important it is to be able to connect other devices to your mobile hotspot. Here is how you can update your mobile hotspot network name on your Samsung Galaxy A11.

  1. From the Mobile Hotspot screen, select Configure.
  2. Edit the information as desired, then select Save when finished.
NETWORK NAME: Change the name of the Mobile Hotspot network.
SECURITY: Change the Security type of the Mobile Hotspot network.
PASSWORD: Change the Password of the Mobile Hotspot network.

Try this and let us know how that works for you. If you have any other questions, feel free to reach back out.
