FRAUD- Same CA mobile number 20yrs- Calls answered by doctor's office voicemail. How long?

How long has this issue been happening? How much money have I lost when people tried to call me?

ATT customer service and fraud department never followed up with email discussing they looked into it.

I have paid my bill on time for 20 years. If anyone tries to contact me from a landline to cell, dialing 1 then my number, they reach a doctor's office.

I have elderly family who need frequent hospitalization. This is how I found out about the issue. When dealing with an emergency.

I called ATT, various departments, spoke on the phone to tier one reps and supervisors for 2 hours. They told me to notify all my contacts to dial a 9 then a 1 then my number.

Is this a FTC, FCC, and FBI stolen identity case?

What's a good law firm to sue for damages? California.

Thanks.

Isthis a cell phone or landline?

You can’t sue you phone carrier, the Supreme Court said so years ago.

There is something odd that a 1 is required if it’s a cell phone.   That’s a country code.   Within the USA you dial the 10 digit number : xxx-xxx-xxxx.

Landline may differ if long distance.
