You haven't provided much information. If you tried to unlock a phone and you are not the original purchaser, and your notified that it has been flagged for fraud, why do you think this is an error?

Where did you buy the phone?

Hello, @muhammadbilal44! We can help with your request to unlock the device.

We recommend if you are receiving an error that the unlock request is being flagged by fraud you may need the original owner of the device to submit the Unlock request. Review the eligibility requirements to determine if the following apply:

  • The device must be designed for use on, and locked to, the AT&T wireless network.
  • It must not be reported lost or stolen.
  • It’s not associated with fraudulent activity.
  • All the device’s service commitments and installment plans are completed, and all early termination fees are paid in full.
  • The device is not currently active on a different AT&T customer’s account.
  • If you performed an early upgrade, you must wait the 14-day buyer’s remorse period before you can request to unlock your previous device.

For more information about unlocking your device check out AT&T Device Unlock Help - Solutions & FAQs. You can also submit a claim to our Fraud Department

We hope this information is helpful, and please let us know if you have any additional questions.

Thank you for reaching out to the AT&T Community Forums!

If you are not the original owner and the phone has been flagged for fraud it cannot be unlocked. Get your money back and return the phone.
