Um.  Okay.

This is not how you order an esim. This is a customer populated Community discussion forum.

Same way you always ordered At&t service as a new customer.

Select from the menu bars to the top left either prepaid or postpaid.

Please check your IMEI if using an android.

Hey there Jonathon123, we'd be glad to provide you with information on how to get an ESIM.

Be aware:

  • For Apple devices with eSIM capabilities, you don’t have to order a card or go to a store to get one.
  • Some devices with eSIM capabilities can support more than one phone number.

For the iPhone set up process:

  • While setting up your iPhone over Wi-Fi, your eSIM might download automatically or you might be prompted to install an AT&T cellular plan. If you have wireless service bars or you can make a call, you’re all set.
    • Connect to Wi-fi.
    • Swipe down from the top of your screen to open your notifications.
    • Choose the AT&T Cellular Plan Ready to be Installed notification
    • Select Continue.
For the Samsung set up process:
  • You’ll need a Wi-Fi connection on your phone and an eSIM activation card with a QR code from AT&T. To download your eSIM, open your camera app, point the camera at the QR code, and follow the prompts.

If you can’t scan the QR code with your camera, follow these steps:

    • Open Settings.

    • Select Connections.

    • Select SIM card manager.

    • Select Add mobile plan.

    • Follow the prompts to scan the QR code on your eSIM activation card from AT&T.

To order a new eSIM within your AT&T account:

  1. Go to your myAT&T account overview.
  2. Scroll to My devices.
  3. Choose Manage for the device that needs a new eSIM.
  4. Scroll to Options & settings and select Get a new eSIM.
  5. Confirm your selection to Get a new eSIM.
  6. Follow the prompts to complete your eSIM setup.

We'd suggest for you to give these options a try and let us know if this works for you!

Thanks for contacting the AT&T Community Forums for assistance.
