Dispute a Bill & Collection Services.

Hi, My name is Terry J. Your company affiliated with First Net for First Responders came to my place of business over a  year ago.  Not satisfied with the bill that I was promised that It will be less than Verizon, I sent both the Apple watch and the cell phone back within 14 days.  I am not put in collections, Sunrise Credit Services,  by your company.  My phone was never port over to Verizon.  I am told that I owe $449.64 cents for not only stocking fee but for advance services ( one month) that I never received in the first place.  The account number I was given was (Edited to remove personal information) by Sunrise Credit Services.  In hopes this matter can be resolved for clearly a mistake or misunderstanding.

1.  Dispute the bill with the bill collector. That forces them to prove that the bill is valid.

2.  If that doesn't end things, it will likely get AT&T involved. If AT&T gets involved, then you can discuss with them.

Info ... Just because you never ported your number over does not mean AT&T did not activate service in your name and with your social security number. The odd amount is a bit puzzling. It makes me think that they recorded return of some but not all merchandise.   If you have any documentation whatsoever, gather it because you will be talking to AT&T upper management at some point.

You can fill out a notice of dispute, but it has nothing to attach to since your account was sold to collections. But save it you may need it later.
