Different TZ/No Service Type in History: Text Message?

I sent a very important message today but after looking in my account history I discovered that the time zone, instead of 'US/Eastern', is 'America/Puerto_Rico'

Also, there was no 'service type' at the bottom where it normally says either SMS or Text Over IP

I am wondering what happened here...

Let's look into helping you address that inaccurate time zone and reports of no service type on your phone. First, if you haven't already, try resolving your experience by powering your device off, then after several minutes, on again. This action should correct any minor issues you may be experiencing with your phone.


If your issue persists despite the first step, depending on the make and model of your device, use our Device Support tool to adjust the time zone on your phone and network issue. Open Settings then Date & time for steps to resolve your time zone issue and Connectivity then Signal & cellular data to begin troubleshooting service on your device.
