Customer Ser. Signed me up for the wrong plan

The customer service representive I spoke with signed me up for the wrong plan

I asked her to be on the 45 dollar a month unlimited plan and she thought I meant that I just wanted the 45 8g that’s 40$ after discount

Now of course all of my data is gone because I didn’t know

Att refused to give me a refund .. I can’t even switch the account myself this month

Why are they so strict ? I would like to request to att or to the CEOs/executives that I receive a refund.

This was your mistake and it’s been inconvenient enough

the ceo or executives will not call you based of a post in a public customer forum, they will not issue a refund , you used the data and used the phone sure they made a mistake and gave you the wrong plan but you still used it. at&t doesnt refund prepaid, not phone nor the streaming tv service. not sure why you cant change plans i see people in these forums starting a service then accidently change it mid month and lose the data from their old plan.

While AT&T employees do look at forum posts from time to time, we are here to represent the forum with our experiences as customers and do not represent AT&T in any official capacity with our responses and do so on our own time unpaid and off the clock. As employees we are not rewarded nor compensated to participate in these forums This forum is comprised of regular customers to communicate with other customers to offer advice and share experiences same as any other user Although there is a small team of customer care specialists that monitor the forums the sheer volume of posts are simply too many posts for these agents to respond to each one of them.

The plan is a $65 unlimited plan, discounted for new users to 45 so, had you asked for the right plan you would have that plan instead of eight gigs.

To ensure the correct plan, try self service via (best experience) or call 611 form your phone. It will confirm two times that you’ve made the right selection. You can make changes on th last day of your current cycle.
