cost of a flip phone plan

Hi I am getting the run around from the att techs about how much the plan for a flip phone would be compared to my i-phone not including the price of the flip phone itself. The techs and the chat are saying the plan for service is the same price even though it would not include the internet...I am not sure if you think I am talking about the flip phone itself which is over and above the price for a line service for said phone!
