Confused and mad...

I have transcripts of chat messages where authorized supervisors have promised me things and then when I call to verify the process for it I've been told that they lied who do I talk to about this problem?

I'm trying to do everything in my power to work with AT & T to resolve these issues before it actually becomes a matter for the Attorney General's office... Any help would be greatly appreciated.

since this does fall under the Illinois deceptive practice per view:

720 ILCS 5/17-1)   (from Ch. 38, par. 17-1)
     Sec. 17-1.  Deceptive practices.

(A) General deception.
A person commits a deceptive practice when, with intent to defraud, the person does any of the following:
         (1) He or she knowingly causes another, by deception

or threat, to execute a document disposing of property or a document by which a pecuniary obligation is incurred.
         (2) Being an officer, manager or other person

participating in the direction of a financial institution, he or she knowingly receives or permits the receipt of a deposit or other investment, knowing that the institution is insolvent.
         (3) He or she knowingly makes a false or deceptive

statement addressed to the public for the purpose of promoting the sale of property or services.

I'm really hoping that someone in an executive capacity at AT & T can reach out to me.Screenshot_20180718-161102.png

Att does not sell ‘signal boosters’. Never have.  Don’t know who Alex is, but he doesn’t know squat.

So, since you would never be able to buy one from ATT, it was a pretty safe (non) offer.

Att used to sell a microcell.  They no longer do.  They stopped at the end of 2017.   It’s unlikely you can find one.

Most likely you phones are capable of wifi calling if you turn the feature on in settings.

So basically the guy lied, just to get me to keep my service, on both offers... Nice.

I don't have wifi calling... And for me to get wifi calling, I have to pay $377.99.. then buy a new phone..

@jdbusch

Pay $377 for what?  And what phone do you have?

If you don’t have Wifi, or a compatible plan or phone, you can buy a cell booster.  Weboost sells really good ones.  Amazon sells bargain ones for much less.  I can only attest to the ones from Weboost working, I own a car booster

$377 to pay off my phone. Z2 force.

The only reason I got that one is because I had the Moto Z-Force through Verizon when I switched companies and AT & T told me that there would be no problems with the coverage in my area. Otherwise I would have just got the Samsung to begin with..

Not even a year into being with AT & T in order to getting screwed and lied to.

I see, it doesn’t have Wifi calling.  You can sell it.

You can buy used m-cell off eBay, that’s where I got mine.

Yeah the one I was looking at from Wilson amplifiers was a weboost and and I was told AT & T would reimburse me for buying it since the reason my service's so bad is because the closest cell tower to me has degraded signal and won't be fixed for about 2 years...

Yeah I can also just pick up a Galaxy S8 off of Amazon for 450 bucks...

which is only $70 more than what the payoff on my phone is and then I don't have to keep paying AT & T more money for another phone.

It's just the point that I keep getting lied to and it's all lies in order to keep collecting my money
