Complaint

Placed an order online at att . Had it delivered to my daughter paid everything. By the time the associate from enjoy by att arrived with phone did not want to release to my daughter because it showed a past due balance that I had already scheduled a payment on. The att company canceled my order without asking at all. So angry with this company that I have years with . Thinking about canceling my whole service period.

Hello,

This is a customer forum, not directly talking to AT&T. Can be frustrating, but if the bill wasn’t paid then no sales will be done. An arrangement is an agreement to pay the bill past the due date, but doesn’t mean that money for the bill can then be used to buy new devices while your account is still in past due status. Once it’s paid up to date with arrangement, your order will go through fine and be delivered.

Upgrades require that your account stay in good standing for at least 6 months prior.

I think it is a valid concern on AT&T's part ( or any business) that if you cannot manage to pay your bill in full, on time, that by increasing the bill with a new phone payment, you will be even less able to pay the bill.
Sorry, but it makes total sense
