Combined Bill & Phone Payoff
I have a combined bill...paying you almost $600 per month for all services. I want to pay off the 2 phones on installment but you say I can't due to them being on a combined bill. UNCOMBINE THEM so that I can pay the phones off. I talked to a representative who said he would uncombine them but I have not been informed that it has been done. What do I need to do?

Have you tried logging into your account to see if you can now pay off installments? Otherwise, call again. No one here can uncombine them.

You have to contact AT&T and have them separate your wireless bill.
Then you can log into your account and use a credit or debit card to pay off your phones. The process of separating your wireless bill usually takes a couple of weeks.

A couple of weeks? The guy on the phone said 2 days max. I'm about done with AT&T. This is (Edited per community guidelines)!

Maybe the best way to take care of this is to just CANCEL my wireless service with AT&T and move on. I've had it with AT&T craziness. I talked with 3 different agents yesterday trying to get this bill uncombined and I still don't know if it's going to get done.

Of course it will get done. I don't know why it takes so long, but 2 weeks seems standard.
If you still would like to cancel your AT&T service, keep in mind that you need the wireless account number, which may not be the same as the account number for your combined bill. You still may want to pay off phones so that you can unlock them from AT&T before you leave. You are billed for the full cycle, so plan your port out.
And you need to get your port pin as postpaid is port locked.

Just as a heads up, cancelling your service won't necessarily end the problems that combined billing causes.
Combined billing is the nightmare that keeps on giving.

I finally got the bills uncombined. I'm sorry but I don't remember exactly how I did it only that I finally got someone who knew what the (Edited per community guidelines) they were doing. You might try going the chat route.
Currently, I am trying to get DirecTV and ATT to communicate so that I can get HBOMax. It's not going well.
Good luck.
