Collection removal
I have a collection on my credit report from Enhanced Recovery Company for a ATT bill from last year. I contacted ATT and was able to pay the balance with ATT. Enhanced Recovery did not own the debt, I never had any contractual obligations to ERC and I was able to pay in full with the original creditor (ATT). This collection should be removed from my credit report immediately.

That's not how any of this works.
If AT&T sold the debt, which likely they did, that isn't going to go off your credit report for years. It may show up as paid off and originally from AT&T. But just because you paid it off doesn't mean it goes away.
You're basically asking for your credit report to say that it never happened, but it did. That's how our credit report/history works.

Your "contractual obligation" was with AT&T and they chose to involve ERC. Apparently AT&T kept it on their books at the same time. You owed the money either way.
Kudos for paying it off but a bad debt (collection) stays on your credit report for 7 years even if it shows a $0 balance.
HOW LONG DOES INFORMATION STAY ON MY CREDIT REPORT?
