Cheaper option for wifi than using my personal hotspot
Renting a room in a house that already has wow cable tv...the owner does not want to add internet service. So in order to access the internet, when I'm on my laptop, I use my Att cell phone's personal hotspot. The data usage has forced me to keep upping my wireless plan every month. There has to be a cheaper way?!? What are my options??

There are no cheaper options using your mobile data. You could look at other providers but generally the only cheaper option is home internet service.

I'm finding out the hard way, getting a land line (or dsl{?})is probably the way to go....or change carriers!?!

You can try T-mobile, check coverage maps close up, and ask around.
Unless you can add internet on your own, you don't have cheaper options.
