Charged for returned phone

We returned a phone under warranty and AT&T refuses to credit my account. I spent 1.5 hours on the phone in January and was told by rep that the phone was found and I would receive full credit. I called in February when I did not receive credit on my bill. Was on the line for 1.5 hours again and was told they did not have the phone and I would not receive the refund. We have been AT&T  customers for over 30 years..I am ready to cancel my account.

I am with you. When you ask for a refund from those giant companies, customers are always looser. I have similar issues like this and even they promised but they can easily override their previous promises. A giant can be kick out by another giant. wait and see.

@Gina05   The shipper is always on the hook for items.  If you saved the tracking numbers, track on USPS and then Newgistics to see where it went.  

If they don’t have records, then you can’t get a credit.  If they do, then you have ammunition to go back to AT&T and demand they make it right.
