Can I pay off a bill from a phone that the original owner no longer owns?

I recently bought a second hand phone but the bill wasn’t paid off. I am wondering if I could pay the bill off without the original account information.

No, there is no way to pay it off without the account information and ATT will not provide that to you.

you don’t they won’t unlock it with a balance and only the person that owes the bill can pay it off. Your only options are use it as a paperweight. Sell it to someone that will use it with At&t or get a refund

Or use it on ATT or an MVNO that uses ATT’s network.
