Can I freeze my account for nearly one year while I'm traveling outside the United States?

I am currently in China. I will come back to the United States in the Next August, 2022. I want to freeze my AT&T account. Do I need to pay for the monthly fees still? If I need to pay for it, how much do I need to pay for it? Does anyone can help me freeze my account? I do not know how to freeze my AT&T account.

If it is post paid you can ask for the reduced rate suspend plan, it is $10 a month plus installment charges if you have them. However, it is only for 6 months, not a year.

Did you read his full post?

It's for 6 months.  After 6 months your full amount is billed.  And the $10 option is for service only.  If you have installments, they are also billed, and any promotion is void.

This is something you should have addressed before leaving USA so you would have better options.

You must call to cancel.
