Billing Usage Category - Browsing and Technology?

I use an ATT Hot Spot LTE wireless access point for my internet service. What devices are defined as technology under the billing usage category Browsing and Technology? Most of my usage comes from this category and I would like to understand whqat devices are driving most of my bandwidth consumption. Are devices such as Google Home smart devices and Nest thermostats defined as technology. Is there any way to get a more granular view?

Hello @KenVen!

Essentially, the billing usage category Browsing and Technology is not meant to be descriptive and only reveals how much data is consumed within your billing cycle.

While we offer tips on managing wireless usage, the most accurate information about what device is consuming the most data can be found specifically on each device ... whether it's in Settings on your phone or tablet or in your browser history located on your computer.

We hope this info helps!

If the "Browsing and Technology" it not meant to be descriptive then how do you know what usage to book to this category?

I am trying to find what usage goes where.  It would make sense that an internet search might go under Browsing but does Technology cover?  What is the difference between Social and Hobbies and Interest?  If ATT is making a discernment about what data goes where then there is a distinction about what usage type.  Why can't you share that information?

If you want to know which apps are using data, look at the devices. That's more descriptive (and useful) than the AT&T listing will ever be.
