Being Lied to

Hi,

I need help.

I went to the internet to see if their internet was faster for my household.

During that time, one of their sales guys came to my house too. He got me to change over to At&T under the condition he promised:
He lied to me that switching over to att all my phones if I traded in would be all free.

His boss and He lied to me that switching over they will send 200 usd for each phone trade-in.

They said these were all of there in-house specials only and not other att.

they are the At&t divisions in Green Bay Wisconsin

i have been trying to get this solve but i guess the manager doesn't care and the sales guy went to a different department.
these are there att phone numbers

I want them to at least be in trouble for lying and breaking my Verizon contract paying thousands of dollars.

Neither of those things are lies.

They are actually public offers which you can read on AT&t's website.

When you trade in your old phones, AT&T gives you new phones with installments.  Bill credits against those installment charges on your phone's don't start for approximately 3 months.

The $200 per line switch offer is usually mailed to you in the form of a prepaid debit card for each line and frequently takes about 2 months.

There's also a $20 a month bundle discount against your internet service for also having your wireless service on a combined bill.

The auto pay and paperless discount with a debit card or checking account doesn't kick in until your first bill is paid via auto pay and paperless.

If you just recently signed up, none of those would have kicked in yet.

Because they're in sales, not customer service and don't want to spend their time with existing customers. They aren't really equipped to handle customer questions anyway.

(Edited per community guidelines),

I called customer service too. Geuss what. They don't have that bonus 200.

So I am not sure where your facts are coming from but I would like to contact them to help me

This is typical. When you call AT&T they can't help you with the in-home sales because it's a completely separate department. And yet everything that you mention is valid. You just have to reach someone other than regular customer support. Just file a better Business bureau complaint online. Better Business bureau complaints are forwarded back to AT&T upper management and someone will contact you.

Yea, because that sales manager sent me some special kind of customer service number then when I called they say they don't do that anymore.

Then I told thier manager and ever since just kept being ignored.

Thanks for the help I will file through bbb

Just file the better Business bureau complaint.   The FTC is the wrong place.
