Bay Area CA -- no coverage -- what a ******* joke

Just another successful entrepreneur in the Bay Area, CA, trying to run a business and having his calls dropped. To not get service everywhere in Silicon Valley is an absolute joke. I've been paying a lot of money for ATT for a long time and have been thoroughly let down. I'll be talking to clients and the call will be dropped -- on the SF Peninsula, which is literally the wealthiest and most high-tech spot in the country.

If anyone from ATT ever reads this, I want a native English speaking adult to call me. Do not even THINK about telling me to buy an expensive new phone.

AT&T doesn’t promise service in every square inch of the country. If you use your phone somewhere you can’t get good service, switch providers. Of course, depending on the cause, buying a new phone might solve the issue.

No no one will call you based on your post here. This is a community forum. Besides, there are billions of non-native English speakers in the world; excluding them for some strange reason seems counterintuitive.

Not at&t’s problem to fix.  It’s your’s.  Change carriers.

No one is going to call you based on your anonymous post here.

AT&T sells phones with current, and fully compatible hardware for under $100, as well as expensive new phones.

Your move

There are two major components in any call, the phone and the network. If coverage was as bad in the Bay Area as you say for everyone, this forum would be full of complaints. It’s not. Perhaps your issue is your phone, especially if you have an older phone that does not utilize all of the frequency bands ATT uses. Coverage in the Bay Area was bad years ago but ATT spent millions improving their coverage.
