ATT&T Fraud Department Unreachable
I had two phone lines added to my account at a Best Buy in a different state. I have tried repeatedly to speak with a representative from AT&T's fraud department with zero success. The only communication I receive from them is the automatic responses to the fraud inquiry forms I have sent in. They have confirmed it is fraud and yet here I am two months later with almost $2800 in charges on this month's bill related to these two fraudulent phone lines even thogh I've been told I won't be responsible for them.
I can't get them on the phone, and no Customer Service or Loyalty agents can reach them either. The phone number tells you to visit the website, and the website tells you to call the phone number. It's an endless, useless loop.
Has anyone actually been able to speak to a human from the Fraud Department, and if so, how did you manage to do it? How long did it take for the charges to be wiped from your account?

Yes shineecass, we can share the Fraud referral form again!
Since the previous form does not seem to work, fill out our identity theft form or call our Fraud management team at 877.844.5584 for wireless accounts. You can also try another browser/device to open the link.
We hope this helps! Thank you for reaching out to the AT&T Community Forums!

You can file an FCC complaint online. A routine complaint is forwarded back to AT&T upper management and they will contact you. You can also file a formal dispute form which you should do immediately.

@Constructive when AT&T cancelled the phone lines, the full cost of they brand new phones they purchased got charged to my account. So it's two brand new iPhones and two months of phone service

Hello @shineecass, we are here to help you with reaching out to fraud department.
We understand how frustrating this is for you. You will still have to contact our Fraud Department to further assist you with this. Review our article to learn other ways to Report Fraud.
We also recommend reviewing our article to learn how to Guard Against Identity Theft.

@ATTHelp thank you for the response, but as I said above, I have tried numerous times to contact the Fraud Department. Neither I, nor any AT&T agent I have spoken with have been able to speak with a Fraud Department representative. If there were ever a human being available, I believe this issue would have already been resolved.
The phone number is always a non-starter and gets you nowhere. The website tells you to call the phone number. The only way I was able to file inquiry forms is because I finally had a customer service rep who gave me a direct link to the form.
If you have a different way to contact them, please let me know. Because all current methods that have been given to me, have not worked at all.

Hi shineecass, we understand the need to clear the unwanted charges from unauthorized lines that were added!
At this time only the Fraud department is able to handle the unauthorized lines and charges. We recommend filling out the forms and reaching out to the Fraud department during business hours.
We hope this helps! Thank you for reaching out to the AT&T Community Forums!

Thank you, Rhoda. Unfortunately, that link for the forms isn't working for me. Can you share it again or do you have another link?
Thank you!
