AT&T won't allow me to add new line

I need to add a new line to my account but AT&T won't allow me to because of my credit. Is there anything I can do so they will let me add a new line? I need to add one so my daughter has a phone. Thank you.

If you can't add one to your account because of your credit, you can always get a gophone as you pay in advance and upfront, there is no credit check and can get a phone and plan.

Yeah, I agree. GoPhone (Prepaid) option would be the best thing. Unfortunately, there is nothing that AT&T can do to bypass a credit check when adding a line. And they aren't able to waive the deposit that is assessed when adding a new line of service. The deposit is not only based on your actual credit history, but also your history with AT&T. So just keep that in mind. If you make late payments, or are always setting up payment arrangements or even if you have any other accounts with AT&T that are late or even in default, that will most definitely increase the amount of deposit you have to pay.
