ATT wireless is too expensive
ATT wireless is too expensive and has no plan for low data user. I have been an ATT Wireless user forever. I am now paying over $104 a month for two phones. This is a 6GB plan and we use .1GB per month. We only use data at home over WIFI except for occasional email, GPS, and an occasional we search. I asked ATT if they had a plan for me. They told me this 6GB plan is grandfathered and anything else would be more expensive. I'm looking at Mint Mobile or Google FI. I am just greatly disappointed that ATT cannot offer me any plan to be competitive with these other providers. Very disappointed with ATT after all these years

Postpaid plans may not meet your needs but have you ever looked at prepaid? They have a 5GB plan where each line gets 5GB, you aren’t sharing. Two lines would only be $50/mo.

They did not offer that plan when I spoke to an agent. I will investigate. Sounds promising.

Unfortunately, that’s not something an agent on the phone can do for you. If you do decide to go with prepaid, you must go to an ATT store to transfer your numbers from postpaid to prepaid.
