Went yesterday to trade my 5 year old Galaxy to ATT STORE. They told me my phone is to old I said it is a 5 yr old ATT PHONE. THE COMMERCIAL SAYS ANY YEAR AMY CONDITION look the Poster on your wall days the same thing.NO, the employee said ,the commercials are just to bring you in.😡I could not afford the payment with the service, they Offered me a S22 FOR $600 PLUS $65 MONTHLY FOR THE LINE. I got home i see Verizon has the same deal on the S23 WITH NO LIES..I am done with ATT  I have been a loyal customer for 15 years. NOW, HOW DO I RETURN THIS PHONE  CANCEL MY DEAL, AND GET MY MONEY BACK, PLEASE TELL ME

Go back to the store to return the phone. You have 14 days to return the phone but if you are a new customer that just started service, don’t wait. In addition to returning the phone, you need to either call to cancel the service or port your number. The store can’t cancel service. You need to cancel service or port your number which also cancels service within 3 days to avoid service charges. That’s only if you are a new customer. Disregard if you were already a customer. As for the “any Samsung, any condition”, the promotional requirements are online and it clearly lists which phone models qualify. I bet your trade in does qualify and that ATT store you visited was an authorized retail store and the sales person lied to you.

Take it from my personal experience as someone who was with AT&T for over 20 years and has a near perfect credit rating  - do whatever you can to leave. They are horrible. I was specifically promised a waiving of activation fees and was lied to. I tell everyone I know to avoid AT&T at all costs. And DO NOT trust the rep who will interact with you here. They will also lie. Get out while you can.
