Applying IMO discount to new service

I need an AT&T account number to enroll in the IMO program.  How can I apply my IMO discount to new AT&T service (bringing my device from a Verizon plan) when I don't have an existing AT&T account number?  Or do I need to wait until after signing up for a new AT&T plan before applying the discount?

Thanks for the post, & welcome to AT&T Wireless!
You will need to complete your port to get your AT&T account number, and enroll in a qualifying data plan to get the Indirect Mobility Offer (IMO) discount. Please keep in mind Unlimited &More Premium, and Unlimited &More Enhanced Plus plans qualify for the discount.

Once you meet eligiblity (post port w/eligible plan) you can request your IMO Acess ID by visiting

Required information to request IMO Access ID:

  • AT&T Dealer Code
  • Retail Store Name (field will auto-populate)
  • User Type: Employee or Manager
  • First & Last Name
  • Contact Number
  • Work Email Address such as,
  • Date of Birth
  • City of Birth
  • AT&T PIN
  • Security Q&A

For additional information please coordinate with your store manager, and your AT&T Field Representative.
