After Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico I misplaced and forgot about Visa Prepaid Card, now expired.

Hi, recently found my two visa prepaid card, that ATT send me last year, after I changed from Sprint, for the value of my two iPhones.  After Huracan Maria hit us in Puerto Rico, I misplaced and forgot about that cards.  A couple of days ago I found them.  The date of expiration on the cards, if 02/2018 although is a credit for the value of the iPhones I trade with ATT.  I called the phone number on the letter and accessed the online site but the only option there is to activate the cards. I tried to activate the cards, but,  guessed because they are expired they can not be activated.  Each card has a $190 value so you can imagine how happy I was when I found them and how sad I got when discovered that they were expired.  I hope anyone can help me.

I don't understand your answer.  Are you explain me your standard procedure? or are you implying that ATT will send new cards and that I should activate and use before the expiration date?
