Account login error: number not associated with a valid GoPhone subscriber

I activated my gophone online and it said the activation was succesful the proting status also shown confirmed. I tried to login att.come/mygophone with the information shown after acivation, I got the following error message "The wireless number you entered is not associated with a valid GoPhone subscriber. Please check the number and try again."


I cannot call or text from the number and not even adding money to the account. Can someone help me with it?

Thank you both for the replies and offering your help. I ended up going to one AT&T store to solve the issues in person....although I am stilling wait for full service after porting.


In case someone else meets same kind of problem....

The representative said that I should not have ported my number online as the service would work only for business lines and (activation with) porting number had to be done in-store; and then she replaced my sim card with a new one and redid the activation as well as cancelled previous porting request and reported the number (thus do remember bring the previous account number and passcode). The activation issues solved.
